Pastor Kenneth Ralph is a graduate of Norris Bible Baptist Seminary and has faithfully served as the pastor of Pensacola Baptist Temple since 2021.
He continues to serve the Lord alongside his wife, Kristy, and their five children, leading the church with a heart for God, a love for people, and a commitment to the truth of God's Word.
Pensacola Baptist Temple began in 1935, rooted in a desire to proclaim the gospel and stand firmly on the infallible Word of God. Though much has changed in Pensacola since the church first started in a home, later moved to South “N” Street, and eventually settled at its current location, our mission has remained the same: to glorify God and make Christ known.
Our current pastor, Pastor Ralph, has faithfully served since May 2021, continuing to lead the church forward for the glory of God.
We were recently blessed to celebrate our 90th anniversary—a testimony to God’s faithfulness through the generations. As we press toward the mark, we remain committed to serving for God’s glory and pray that His hand will continue to be upon this church until the day of our Savior's return.
We believe in one triune God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, and co-equal in power and glory.
We believe salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ.
We believe the Lord Jesus to be the eternal Son of God. Without ceasing to be God, He became a man and was born of a virgin to reveal God and to redeem sinful men. We hold to the truth Jesus was entirely sinless. He secured our salvation by death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, arose bodily three days later, and now lives to make intercession for us
We believe the Genesis account of creation is neither allegory nor myth, but is the literal, historical account of God’s creation of the universe in six literal, 24 hour periods.
We believe that once a person is saved, they are kept by the power of God. Once saved, always saved.
We believe that believers should maintain a godly testimony and live in such a way that their lives do not bring reproach upon their Savior.
We believe the local church is made up of born-again believers. We believe in the autonomy of the local church, free from any external authority and/or control.
Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of our Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, we do now, in the presence of God and this assembly most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant…
